Outram Park MRT station, Chinatown MRT Station

A Fantastic Location Close to Chinatown Plaza and so Much More

One Pearl Bank is south of Pearl’s Hill City Park on the opposite side of the park from The Landmark Singapore. Going southwest from One Pearl Bank, you will find the Singapore General Hospital and the Avenue South Residences. The Avenue South Residences are next to the Silat Road Sikh Temple and the Wat Ananda Metyaram (Thai Buddhist Temple).

From One Pearl Bank, it is a short three-minute walk, using a sheltered walkway, to the Outram Park MRT station that offers the East-West Line (EWL), the North-East Line (NEL), and will be a new interchange for the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) in 2021. These trains connect the stop at Orchard and Shenton Way to faraway Woodlands and Siglap.

A five- to ten-minute walk on Pearl’s Hill Terrace leads to the Chinatown MRT Station with the Chinatown (NEL) and Downtown Line (DTL) interchange. In the heart of Chinatown, Singapore, you find the Chinatown Plaza and many small shops, bars, coffee houses, and restaurants. Other attractions include the Chinatown Heritage Centre, the ornate Sri Mariamman Hindu Temple, and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple with a beautiful garden.

Some may prefer not to take the trains from the Outram Park MRT station or the Chinatown MRT Station. For them, nine bus services stop along Outram Road for those who want to take public transportation to other parts of Singapore.

To reach One Pearl Bank in a vehicle, motorists enter at Outram Park/Outram Road. Outgoing traffic exits to either Outram Road or the Central Expressway (CTE). From Outram Road, Tanjong Pagar, downtown, and Marina Bay are about a 10-minute drive, depending on traffic.

It is only about a three-minute drive to reach the Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE). If you travel on the Central Expressway (CTE) going south, you can connect to the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) in about four minutes.
